This was incredibly easy...hence why I accomplished it....If you look on the bottom of the chair part of the stool...you may see metal tabs. If you do these are the tabs that hold the cover down. I bent them straight on this stool and lifted the cover off...removed the old plastic cover and attached the new..I did use a hot glue gun to lightly tac the new fabric down and trimmed it close so that you do not have so much bulk ...then just put the cover back on bending the tabs back over with a pair of pliers..Ta Daa...and I painted this stool all intact (of course before I put the new fabric back on.)....and even hit the bottom of the seat as well.....I hope that your project comes out great!
