Tunes to Trees Sheet Music Christmas trees

I know ..I know I am rushing it.
These were fun and easy.  Materials needed sheet music (not vintage you need some volume in your paper), Glue gun,  sparkling Icicles, cardboard,  if you want a pretty base, I used desert cups and a silver creamer.  You will need decorative scissors as well as straight .

I made cones out of the cardboard manipulated them to fit the bases.  Cut the bottom fairly straight.  Cut the sheet music into strips a then "fringed" them and curled the paper up.  I then glued them in rows on to the cardboard cones making sure to over lap enough the hide the cone.  Glued them in to the bases attached vintage glass ornaments in a bed of scrunched icicles on to the top.  The sky is the limit.  I started these early to get them in my booth and they have already sold with a request for more.
So the glue gun is heating up....

Hope that this post has found you happy and healthy!

  6. Super cute. A new follower, and I most recently blogged about using sheet music as part of my daughter's homemade wedding decor, but I still had plenty left over. Love this idea, and pinned it, thank you. Hope you'll visit me next time you're on a blog roll. :)
